Big Sky Resort is Montana's largest destination resort, featuring uncrowded skiing. Enjoy three mountains: Flat Iron, Andesite and Lone Peak. Lone Peak rises to 11,166 feet. Andesite Mountain has notable intermediate trails, some comfortable beginner trails, several expert tree runs and a half-pipe and terrain park. Flat Iron Mountain is on the eastern shoulder of Andesite and offers even more variety. The trip runs from January 12th to January 19th.
Trip Package includes:
Round trip airfare (From Newark), Round trip motor coach from Bozeman-Big Sky with round trip baggage handling, 4-6 day lift ticket valid at Big Sky, and 1 day at Moonlight Basin, 7 nights accommodations at the elegant Huntley Lodge, with 2 queen beds per room. Package also includes a welcome wine & cheese reception at the Huntley and a daily full breakfast buffet. All for just $1,380 if you pay by Oct 30th - $1,440 if you pay after Oct 30th.
Sun Peaks Resort is the lagest ski area in British Columbia, Canda. It consists of a ski-in/ski-out alpine village close by three mountains: Tod offers two open bowls and challenging terrain; Mt. Morrisey open glades, cruising runs and black-diamond steeps; while Sundance has groomed runs, and ski-school learning area. Sundance also reigns supreme for snowboarding, boasting advanced and intermediate terrain parks, and a 100m halfpipesnowshoe trails. The trip runs from March 1st to March 8th.
Trip Package includes:
Round trip airfare (From Newark) on Alaska Airlines to Kelowna via Seattle, Roundtrip motor coach transfers from Kelowna / Sun Peaks, 6 nights lodging at Crystal Forest Condos- double occupancy, and round trip baggage handling is included at the Inn. Package also includes 5 or 6 day lift / trail ticket at Sun Peaks, Grocery stop from Airport to Resort, 1 night accommodation at Holiday Inn Express Kelowna and complimentary guided tours. If you sign up before Oct 30th this package only costs $1,485- and $1,550 after Oct 30th.

So how do we decide where we head off to ski each year? The board of Snowbound talks to club members and collects suggestions on destinations.
The trip coordinator and assistant trip coordinator also talk to representatives from ski resorts to find what resorts have the mountains, cross country trails, snow-shoeing, accommodations and general winter activities that our members enjoy.
As a result, Snowbound visits the top resort destinations and stays in the top accommodations. Typically accommodations are four-star and are ski-in/ski-out whenever possible. So where have we been? Here's a list...
