Membership is required to participate on trips
Individuals $35 (annually)

Mammoth & Heavenly Mammoth Mountain Resort is located in the eastern Sierra Mountains, within the Inyo National Forest. Mammoth is a resort that truly lives up to its name with annual average snowfall is over 400", it enjoys over 300 days of sunshine
each year. The mountain offers a wide variety of runs for all skill levels. Heavenly Mountain Resort is the largest ski resort in Lake Tahoe region, It sprawls across the California-Nevada border and offers skiing and riding in both states. The California base is at 6450 feet and the Nevada base is 7200 feet. The trip runs from February 6th to 13th, 2010.

Trip Package includes:

  • Roundtrip air on United Airlines from Newark to Reno, NV.
  • Motor coach from Reno to the Condos
  • 6 nights lodging at the Juniper Springs Condos near Mammoth’s Eagle Lodge with 4 sharing per 2 bedroom/2 bath
  • 4 of 6 day Mammoth lifts (if purchased)
  • Motor coach Mammoth to the Montbleu Heavenly Hotel
  • 1 night lodging at Montbleu Heavenly hotel with 2 per hotel room
  • 1 day Heavenly lift ticket (if purchased)
  • Motor coach from Montbleu Heavenly Hotel to Reno airport

Vail, Colorado “Like nothing on earth.” Vail is located in north central Colorado, 120 mi. west of Denver Int’l. Airport (DIA) on I-70. Known for having the most groomed terrain and deep powder and seven bowls,The largest ski resort in the U.S., Vail is spread over three distinct sections of mountain: The Front Side,The Back Bowl and Blue Sky Basin.
The trip runs from March 6th to 13th, 2010.

So how do we decide where we head off to ski each year? The board of Snowbound talks to club members and collects suggestions on destinations.

The trip coordinator and assistant trip coordinator also talk to representatives from ski resorts to find what resorts have the mountains, cross country trails, snow-shoeing, accommodations and general winter activities that our members enjoy.

As a result, Snowbound visits the top resort destinations and stays in the top accommodations. Typically accommodations are four-star and are ski-in/ski-out whenever possible. So where have we been? Here's a list...
